Safety is the starting point for electric fences for horses. With TurboStar products you are in the right place, as these are of the best quality. The TurboStar insulators can be used as both strain insulators and end insulators. They can be used on a start/end post or corner post in permanent fences. Since more force is applied at these points, it is important to use these specific ribbon insulators. They can be recognised by the orange rubbers cast along.
Extra strong insulator for optimum safety
The insulator consists of three parts for extra strength. The part to be attached to the post has three screw holes. The middle one provides extra strength. The second part is clicked over. Then you put the tape in between and screw on the top. The screws are well hidden, so the horse cannot hurt itself. All screws are included. This insulator can be used for tape up to 40 mm.
Optimal voltage
Thanks to the slot on the outside of the insulator, the tape can be optimally clamped and used as a starting/end point.
Increasing service life
The orange co-moulded rubbers ensure that the tape is firmly clamped in the insulator. This minimises scuffing, which increases the life of the tape.
Intermediate plate
The intermediate plate (art. no. 708027, not included) can be used as a joiner and gate handle anchor.
Warranty
There is a 10-year product warranty on the TurboStar tape insulators.
Advice and use
When using TurboStar tape, we also recommend using TurboStar insulators. In a panic situation, the tape will break, reducing the risk of serious injury. We also recommend clamping the tape tightly and maintaining it. This keeps the fence safe.
