Repelling rabbits with electric fencing
Gallagher has noticed a need for fencing suitable for chasing rabbits. These lagomorphs often cause a nuisance in gardens, fields and meadows. Rabbits are capable of eating plants and crops down to the ground. In addition, rabbits are good diggers. Thus, they can cause a lot of damage on sports fields, cemeteries, dykes and industrial sites.
Types of fencing for rabbits
For repelling rabbits, Gallagher recommends fencing nets or rabbit nets. This type of fencing is also good for keeping rodents out. The fencing net is easy to install and user-friendly. The rabbit net is expandable like other fencing. You can connect several nets together and link them to an electric fence device to prevent the rabbit from gnawing through it. For keeping out rabbits, Gallagher has two types of fencing nets:
- Red rabbit net with single pin: A complete fence net to keep out rabbits or rodents. The rabbit net is 50 metres long and can be extended with several nets.
- Green single-pin rabbit net: An easy-to-install and easy-to-mount fencing net. The turban net comes with 15 single-pin posts and 10 horizontal wires. The posts are 65 cm high.
Keeping rabbits indoors with fencing
Gallagher rabbit nets can also be used to keep rabbits inside. If you find a traditional rabbit hutch less suitable for your rabbit, a rabbit net is the perfect alternative. Even if you do use a rabbit hutch but want to give your rabbits more space outside, a pet fencing net is a good choice.
